We organise the annual energy industry Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Management Conference which promotes the highest standards of addressing and managing SHE issues. Each year the conference is hosted by a different ENA member.

The SHE Management Conference is the must attend event for all those working in the electricity industry at which industry leaders, trade unions, regulators, and stakeholders will meet to hear and discuss the key SHE issues facing the sector. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity to network, share best practice, and discuss current SHE challenges and priorities with colleagues as part of the sector’s ambition to both work collaboratively in support of its shared goals, and to be a safer, healthier, and environmentally responsible industry.

Registration is now open for the Conference. Register to attend using this link:

5-6 June 2024, Jersey

Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey

The 33rd SHE Management Conference (2024) will take place on 5th - 6th June, Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey. It'll be hosted by Jersey Electricity.

This year’s conference will focus on key issues and priorities within the SHE agenda and highlight how management of these topics helps ensure the health, safety, and welfare of its workforce and partners, whilst supporting the industry’s commitment to providing safe and secure supplies to customers and enabling its Net Zero ambitions and targets to be met.

An integrated disciplinary approach remains key, not only for effective and successful SHE management, but also to wider business objectives. This year’s theme of ‘Building Future SHE Performance’ will demonstrate how progress in one field often provides links to and synergies with others leading to collective, improved performance.

The conference features an impressive line up of senior speakers from not only the network businesses, but regulators, professional health bodies, and leading environmental sustainability organisations. The conference will close with a challenge on how we can adopt and apply the benefits of AI and technology to address the future challenges for the industry.
