2024
The 33rd SHE Management Conference (2024) took place on 5th - 6th June, Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey. It was hosted by Jersey Electricity.
The 2024 conference focused on key issues and priorities within the SHE agenda and highlighted how management of these topics helps ensure the health, safety and welfare of the workforce and partners.
An integrated disciplinary approach remains key, not only for effective and successful SHE management, but also to wider business objectives. The 2024 theme of ‘Building Future SHE Performance’ demonstrated how progress in one field often provides links to and synergies with others leading to collective, improved performance.
The conference featured an impressive line up of senior speakers from not only the network businesses, but regulators, professional health bodies, and leading environmental sustainability organisations. The conference closed with a challenge on how we can adopt and apply the benefits of AI and technology to address the future challenges for the industry.

2023
The 32nd SHE Management Conference took place on 24-25 May at Croke Park, Dublin and was hosted by ESB Networks and supported by Meet in Ireland.
The 2023 conference theme ‘Culture’ focussed on how to develop those aspects of Safety, Health, and Environment culture needed to support the industry’s pursuit of continuous improvement and its wider Net Zero ambitions. Delegates heard from business leaders, SHE professionals, and subject matter experts on industry developments and case studies to help renew and refresh the sector’s approach to SHE culture.
The conference was a responsibly managed, sustainable event through the management of its carbon footprint and environmental impact.

The 31st annual conference took place 29-30 June 2022 at the Hilton, Brighton and was hosted by UK Power Networks. It's theme ‘Sustainability’ provided a forum for employees, employers, trade unions and regulators to network, share best practice and review safety, health and environment challenges and concerns.

The programme’s sessions address SHE issues from a national, regional and company perspective and, and given the conference theme this year, focussed on the increasing challenges of environmental management and sustainability whilst refreshing our approach to occupational health and safety.
The conference featured senior figures within the industry and external speakers who are experts in their field, to provide the stimulus for a renewed vision and approach to improving performance. The conference also fosters co-operation and improves contact between the companies and partners that comprise our industry.
