electricity: resources for KS1 & 2

Electricity is a form of energy which we use to power all sorts of useful machines and gadgets all round our homes and schools. We use electricity to make our lives safer, easier and much more fun. We use electricity to power the lights in our home, to make our kettles hot, and our fridges cold. We also use electricity to make our televisions and computers work.

Here are just a few things which use electricity at home and school:

Light bulb Washing machine Fridge
Television Computer Train set

See if you can think of three more.
