Minister and Key MP to Address SHE 2008 Conference

The Health & Safety Minister, Lord McKenzie, and the Chair of the influential All Party Occupational Safety & Health Group, Michael Clapham MP, will both address SHE 2008 (the Energy Industry Safety, Health & Environment Management Conference) organized by ENA and to be held on 24th-25th April 2008 at Oulton Hall in Leeds.

Their speeches will provide attendees with valuable Government and political thinking on the safety agenda.

Lord McKenzie of Luton, the Department for Work & Pensions Minister responsible for heath and safety issues, will provide the conference’s opening address.

Lord McKenzie said "I look forward to the event and to hearing about health and safety developments in the gas and electricity sectors".

Michael Clapham MP, Chair of the All Party Occupational Safety & Health Group, will provide a keynote address to close the conference.
