LCNI Conference Receives Awards Recognition

For Immediate Release – 21 December 2015

The annual Low Carbon Network & Innovation Conference (LCNI), hosted by Energy Networks Association, has received recognition from the Association Excellence Awards 2016. The event is a finalist in the category of ‘Best Development of an Existing Association Event - over 300 delegates’.

LCNI Conference, which recently gathered for the fifth consecutive year, brings together gas and electricity network companies, Government, regulators and key industry stakeholders to showcase smart network developments and share learning to help achieve the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy. Since the inaugural conference in 2011 LCNI has grown significantly each year to become the largest smart grid event in the UK; drawing over 1000 delegates from 23 different countries and 70 exhibitors.

ENA Chief Executive David Smith said, “From speaking to delegates at this year’s conference, it was clear that in a short time LCNI has established itself as a ‘must attend’ event on the calendar of all those involved in network innovation in the UK and around the world.

This nomination is a testament to the efforts of all those who have worked to make the conference such a success.”
