Electricity networks survey farmers

Electricity Wayleave Payments - Online Survey

With modern farming and agricultural machinery growing larger in size to meet new demands of the industry, a review of the Wayleaves compensation is necessary to assess the impact that electricity pylons and poles have on farmers’ businesses.

A survey being run by ADAS, on behalf of the National Farmers Union (NFU) and the Energy Networks Association (ENA), is gathering the views of farmers and other members of the farming industry to comment and contribute. This will help establish what kind of changes in practices have taken place since the last survey, which took place over 20 years ago, and whether a review of Wayleaves compensation needs to take place.

Please find the survey here.
