ENA Extends Membership to Bord Gáis Networks
On Thursday, 14th October 2010 Bord Gáis Networks was pleased to announce its membership of the Energy Networks Association (ENA). Comprised of gas and electricity transmission and distribution companies, ENA is a trade association which represents members' interests with government and regulatory bodies domestically and in Europe.
John Barry, Managing Director of Bord Gáis Networks, welcomed the membership adding "By joining ENA Bord Gáis Networks is reinforcing its commitment to best practice, particularly in the areas of safety and sustainability. Bord Gáis Networks will share expertise with ENA and existing members and agree priorities in the energy networks sector. Membership of the ENA also provides Bord Gáis Networks with an opportunity to shape debate on future energy issues and influence policy to address the challenges of the future energy industry."
