Response to the Conservative's launch of their policy paper on the Low Carbon Economy

Responding to the Conservative's launch of their policy paper on the Low Carbon Economy, David Smith, Chief Executive of ENA, said:

"Networks are committed to and are already building the environmental future, the reliable and secure energy future that the UK needs.

"We welcome the Conservative recognition for the need for networks to be allowed to make a substantial increase in investment to ensure we have the appropriate infrastructure to deliver reliable and secure networks in a low carbon world."
