LCNI Conference 2015

The Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference provided an opportunity to explore the learning from electricity and gas network innovation projects, the closure of key large scale projects and the final year of LCN funding. The conference also discussed how significant findings and learning from these projects will be transferred to business as usual. 

Subjects that were discussed include network resilience, customer engagement, innovation strategies, network performance, energy futures, low carbon energy and big data.

The conference provided unparalleled networking opportunities as well as over 40 breakout and workshop sessions. A careers event was also held on day 3 of the conference to highlight the exciting career opportunities that exist in the growing and dynamic energy sector. Students from schools, colleges and universities were be invited to attend to meet with representatives from each of the licensed network operators.

Taking place at the state-of-the-art ACC Liverpool on 24-26 November, the 2015 LCNI Conference was co-hosted by SP Energy Networks.
