This page highlights all of the stakeholder engagement activities that have been undertaken as a part of the Open Networks Project. Here you can also find the presentations and outputs from the various stakeholder engagement events. This page includes consolidated sets of stakeholder feedback and how we have incorporated this into the products from the workstreams.

Product 4: The Commercial Principles for Contracted Flexibility paper can be found here.The consultation on this paper closed on 29th September 17 and the responses are currently being reviewed. 

 

Open Networks Project Advisory Group

As a part of this project, an Open Networks Project Advisory Group has been formed, which enables the Project Team to inform key stakeholders of project progress and for those stakeholders to contribute to the project. The members of this group include a large range of stakeholders from across the industry including suppliers, aggregators, IDNO's, industry groups, academia, generators, consumer groups, the gas industry, Government, Ofgem and other industry parties. This group meets bimonthly, and outputs will be posted on this webpage.

Advisory Group Meeting 1 - 25th April 2017

The first Advisory Group meeting was held on 25th April 2017 in London. ENA and its Members presented the initial products from Workstreams 2, 3 and 4. Feedback was generally positive, and the Project Team received very valuable input to the products. This stakeholder input will be fed back into the products and will ultimately help shape the direction that each workstream takes.

The consolidated set of slides from the meeting can be found here.

The project team has considered all of the feedback from the Advisory Group and updated the products that were presented accordingly, as well as taking views into account in the direction and content of future developments. A document setting out how the comments raised by the Advisory Group have been addressed has been published and can be found here.

The second Advisory Group meeting was held on 19th July 2017 in London. ENA and its Members presented and sought feedback on products from Workstreams 1, 2, 3 and 4. The discussion and feedback was positive, and the Project Team received very valuable input to the products. This stakeholder input will be fed back into the products and will ultimately help shape the direction that each workstream takes.

The 4th Advisory Group Meeting will be held on 25th October in Glasgow.

 

Advisory Group Meeting 5 - 20th December 2017

The 5th Advisory Group Meeting will be held on 20th December in London.

 

 

TDI Stakeholder Engagement Workshops

Organised by ENA, these workshops provided an opportunity to engage with and disseminate information to the energy community and customers on the previous work that was completed as part of the former Transmission Distribution Interface (TDI) member working groups. Two sessions were held, one in London and one in Glasgow, and the presentations and stakeholder feedback can be seen below. This feedback will be fed into the new Open Networks Project workstreams for consideration.
